THE BUFFER BRUSH IS GREAT FOR POWDER FOUNDATIONS. WHILE IVE SEEN IT BEING USED IN BOTH LIQUID AND POWDER FOUNDATIONS, I PERSONALLY THINK THAT IT WORKS BETTER WITH DRY OR POWDER PRODUCTS. WHEN USING A LIQUID FOUNDATION, THIS BRUSH GIVES A HEAVIER APPLICATION THAT IT CAN THEN BLEND OUT INTO A THINNER LAYER. DUE TO ITS FLUFFY AND DENSE HEAD, THE BRUSH CAN PICK UP AND DISTRIBUTE MORE ONTO THE FACE. ALSO, IF APPLYING LIQUID WITH ANOTHER TOOL, THE BUFFER WORKS BEAUTIFULLY TO GO IN RIGHT AFTER THE FOUNDATION APPLICATION TO SMOOTH THE FOUNDATION OVER SKIN BEFORE APPLYING POWDER. 

THE KABUKI BRUSH IS A SMALL HANDED BRUSH WITH A HUGE DENSE BRUSH HEAD. THIS BRUSH IS AMAZING FOR APPLICATION OF SETTING POWDERS, AND COMPACT OR LOOSE POWDER FOUNDATIONS. THIS BRUSH PICKS UP MAJOR PRODUCTS AND GIVES AN EVEN DISTRIBUTION ALL OVER THE SKIN. THE HUGE BRUSH HEAD MAKES IT EASIER TO APPLY THE POWDER PRODUCT QUICKER AND MORE EFFICIENTLY. ITS ALSO GOOD FOR BLENDING BLUSH INTO THE SKIN.

ANOTHER ONE OF MY PERSONAL FAVORITES IS THE ELF POWDER BRUSH. THIS FLAT TOP BRUSH IS AMAZING WHEN IT COMES TO BLENDING POWDER FOUNDATION OVER LIQUIDS! ITS FLAT TOP ALLOWS FOR ACCURATE PLACEMENT OF MAKEUP PRODUCT AND IS ALSO DENSE ENOUGH TO BLEND OUT FLAWLESSLY. I LOVE THIS BRUSH SO MUCH THAT I OWN 2 OF THEM. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND USING THIS ON LIQUID PRODUCTS BUT POWDER FOUNDATION AND BLENDING IS AND ART FOR THIS BRUSH.

1. WHEN APPLYING FOUNDATION, TRY TO BLEND INTO SKIN BEFORE ADDING SETTING POWDER

2. WHEN APPLYING YOUR SETTING POWDER, PAT IT ONTO FACE INSTEAD OF BUFFERING IT IN. THE RIGHT AWAY BUFFERING CAN MOVE FOUNDATION. SIMPLY PAT POWDER ONTO FACE AND THEN ONCE IT IS SET YOU CAN PROCEDE TO BUFFERING LIGHTLY IN ORDER TO BLEND INTO SKIN.

I personally take pride inwearing wigs! Whether I buy em or make em myself, wigs are the BEST way to show personality! Love em or Hate em, EVERYONE is a little wiggy on the inside! 

OUTGOING/EDGY : if your personality is more outgoing, try a wig with a splash of color or a full colored wig. the bright color will attract people to you which is great for conversation especially if you are a major people person.

Now on a personaly note, I LOVE the dramatic lashes! My favorites are the ones that look like when you blink you can fan someone with. I feel like themore diva you want to be, the more you have to take the foot forward and do a bit extra while still maintaining a sexy and sophisticated look. 

DIVA: for the ultimate diva effect, grab a pair of Katy Perrys OH MY! lashes. They are doubled, full, thick, and super sexy! 

NATURAL: if you prefer a more natural look, grab the lashes that have a invisible weft band. These lashes blend flawlesly with you natural lash line and add a touch of flare to your real lashes.

Now for you girls who love to get pampered every week at the nail salon, this is somehwere where Diva can go Dangerous. With so many options and designs to choose from, we can often get carried away. Lets Keep it funky ladies! You want people to notice your nails but you dont want your nails to necessarily be the centerpiece but rather a highlight of you. Try to grab something that says "This is Who I am".. designs are beautiful but not always something that someone will be awed by so LADIES make sure when you get em done, you dont go overboard.

Ive featured a post about eyebrow shapes and which ones are great for each shape of face. Without my eyelashes I feel completely NAKED in the face. You never realize the lack of eyebrow you have until you wipe em off at the end of the day! So ladies a few tips on eyebrows:

THICK AND FULL: if you already have thick bushy eyebrows, no penciling is usually necessary. You are blessed in this case because the most you will need is a quick waxing or threading to define your arch and give you some shape.

THIN AND FRAIL: if you are like me and have frail or thin eyebrows, you should consider penciling them in or using a powder. Wax or thread to create an arch and shape and proceed to define the shape with an eyebrow pencil and fill with a brow powder to create a stunningly beautiful brow.!

Thrifting has been a total lifestyle for me. Not only do you save money, but you get a chance to come out with some major pieces that will style you even in a budget.! My favorite thing to do is to gather up some friends and we take a day to explore a few thrift spots at a time. Its a very relaxing way to hang with friends.. And we ALWAYS have money for a satisfying meal after our fashion forward day.! 

A few tips for thrifting

1. Go in with a clear open mind: you never know what you will find so always be ready for the best or the worst of stores.

2. Always research before you make your move: while its more than okay to search every store for awesome pieces, some stores tend to be overpriced. Always make sure your getting the best bang for your buck! 

3. Set a budget: setting a budget can always help to maintain and take charge of your money BUT GIRLS!!! I promise you that most times you wont even spend all of the money that you budgeted with.! What a relief right? 

4. Always look for sales on top of sales.! At my latest visit to a thrift store named OUT OF THE CLOSET (see picture), they offered $5 off of your entire purchase if you agreed to take a HIV/AIDS test. After a few health questions, the test took literally 2 minutes... No needles just a finger prick and you get $5 off.! .. CANT BEAT THOSE SAVINGS! 

5. WASH.! WASH.! WASH.!: its important to always wash the clothes before you wear them.! Even though certain stores wash them before they put them out, always wash them.! They might be yours now but you wont know their history so make sure you tap into the hygiene factor and wash before you wear. 

LADIES.! Always remember that ONE GIRLS TRASH IS ANOTHER GIRLS TREASURE.!
